"This is THE Place for orthodontic care for children, teens, and adults. Dr. Wiegand does traditional orthodontics, as well as the see-thru retainer type, when appropriate. She has specialized education (incl. DDS & DMD) from Saint Louis University. Her extensive experience, both military and civilian, includes many difficult cases and the unique needs of diverse patients and families. She is also able to work with patients whose anxiety may have prevented them from getting or completing prior treatments. Her kind and gentle approach to patient care is truly exceptional. As for convenience, Big Bend Orthodontics is centrally located near I-44. You won’t need to run around to other offices, because they have in-house digital xray technology and an in-house orthodontic lab. There is a free parking lot in the back, and street parking in front. Strongly recommend for all ages. Edit: I saw Dr. Wiegand again yesterday. Same glowing recommendation applies. She is always careful to make patients comfortable and safe. Her skills and instincts are unmatched. She is trustworthy, kind, and genuinely concerned for her patients’ wellbeing. "We have been with this practice only a few months but we are so glad we chose them. Both my kids are seeing Dr Heidi and they both feel so comfortable in the office.
